Conjet’s ability to aid in special hydrodemolition projects is known world wide.

We have been involved in narrow tunnels, steep tunnels, LARGE scale hydrodemoliton, under water hydrodemolition (at 600 meters depth!), pillars up to 140 height and many other “odd” projects. We have, for instance, successfully incorporated BlueTooth as the mean of communication in some projects. The Robot 747 is an example of a special project we have been involved in and another is the Robot 302 .

Robot 747

Robot 747 is a 5 ton hydrodemolition robot powered by 3 Hammelmann pumps with a total of 2250 hp.

The Robot 747 is custom designed and built for airport runways strengthening and is powered by three Powerpacks each delivering 750 hp. The Robot 747, with a 7.5 m feed beam, is capable of coping with large areas, such as airport runways.

It is a track driven, diesel powered unit incorporating a 7.5 m feed beam equipped with three independtly operated hydraulic rotors or oscillating cassettes for scarifying, removing damaged concrete and surface membrance up to a width of 7 m. A laser beam is used to accurately guide the Robot on long straight runs.

Robot 302

Robot 302 working in narrow tunnel

Conjet AB has upon request from one Swiss customers developed the compact Conjet 302 hydrodemolition Robot, which was specified to remove weakened and damaged concrete from the wall and floor of a 6 km long small, only 1.5 by 1.5 meter, water tunnel.

The small, lightweight, water resistant unit is exceptionally manoeuvrable and ideal for working in areas inaccessible to the standard larger Conjet Robot water jetting hydrodemolition equipment. It is exceptionally narrow and can pass through an 850 mm wide opening making the Robot 302 ideal for working in small tunnels, culverts, inside concrete box girder bridge decks and under quay wall parapets. The unit is also exceptionally efficient for use in numerous industrial cleaning applications, especially in small spaces and other areas of restricted access.

Computer aided design (CAD)

We can help you visualize your project

A lot of the projects that come to our knowledge requires a visual layout in order to understand the concept we are trying to relay. Using our CAD software will produce images that are easy to understand and images that can be presented to your client for them to understand what you are planning.
There are several examples of this kind of assistance.
